Who we are
Tonyglitz Collections is a fashion retailer and wholesaler based in Ondo City, Ondo State, Nigeria. We sell handbags, shoes, clothing and school essentials.
Our website address is tonyglitzcollections.com. For anything in this policy, contact us at [email protected] or on WhatsApp at 0803 502 6583.
What information we collect
When you place an order — your name, delivery address, phone number, email address, and the details of what you ordered. We need this to fulfil your order.
When you pay — payment is processed by our payment provider. We receive confirmation that payment succeeded and the last digits of the method used. We never see or store your full card number, PIN, CVV, or bank login details.
When you contact us — the contents of your message, whether by WhatsApp, our contact form, email or phone.
When you subscribe — your email address.
When you browse the site — your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you view, how you arrived, and how long you stay. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies.
When you leave a review or comment — the content you submit, plus your name, email and IP address.
We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Advertising and analytics — please read this section
We advertise on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Google. To measure whether those adverts work, we use tracking tools on this website:
Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram). Records which pages and products you view, what you add to your cart, and what you buy. This lets us show relevant adverts and measure results.
Meta Automatic Advanced Matching. When you enter details at checkout — such as your email address, phone number or name — those details are converted into an irreversible scrambled code (a “hash”) on your device before being sent to Meta. Meta uses that code to check whether you have a matching account, so our adverts can be measured more accurately. Meta does not receive your email address or phone number in readable form.
TikTok Pixel. Works the same way for our TikTok advertising, and includes the same advanced matching.
Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console. Tell us how many people visit, which pages they read, and which searches bring them here. We use this in aggregate, to improve the site.
These providers may combine this information with data they already hold about you, and may use it for their own purposes. Their handling of your data is governed by their own privacy policies, published on their websites.
How to opt out. You can decline non-essential cookies through the banner on our site, turn off cookies in your browser settings, or adjust your ad preferences directly with Meta, TikTok and Google. Declining will not stop you from shopping with us.
Cookies
Cookies are small files stored on your device.
- Essential cookies keep your shopping cart and your login working. The site cannot function without these.
- Analytics cookies count visits and show us which pages perform well.
- Advertising cookies measure our adverts and let us show them to people who have visited before.
You can clear or block cookies in your browser at any time. Blocking essential cookies will break the cart and checkout.
Why we are allowed to use your information
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, we rely on:
- Contract — to take payment and deliver what you ordered.
- Legitimate interest — to prevent fraud, improve our shop, and understand which adverts work.
- Consent — for marketing emails and non-essential cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Legal obligation — to keep tax and business records.
Who we share your information with
- Delivery companies, so your order reaches you. They receive your name, address and phone number.
- Our payment provider, to process your payment securely.
- Meta, TikTok and Google, as described in the advertising section above.
- Our website host, which stores the site and its database.
- Government or law enforcement, only where we are legally required to.
We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
How long we keep it
- Order records: 6 years, as required for tax and accounting.
- Marketing contacts: until you unsubscribe.
- Website analytics: up to 14 months.
- Enquiries that do not become orders: 12 months.
Your rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 you may:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct anything that is wrong
- Ask us to delete your information, where we are not legally required to keep it
- Object to your information being used for marketing
- Ask for a copy of your data in a portable format

How we protect your information
Our website uses HTTPS encryption. Access to customer records is limited to staff who need it. Payment details are handled by our payment provider and never stored on our servers.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach occurs that puts your rights at risk, we will notify you and the Nigeria Data Protection Commission as the law requires.
